These scollops are sold out of their shells, with roe. These fresh ones are simply the best - by comparison, frozen king scallops are usually 55% water due to the ice glaze. We have a recipe for scollops with basil and lime butter.

These are Fresh scollops from Napp Rock near New Bedford. They have a slightly different flavour and texture to British scollops, preferred by many of our customers. We put these on a griddle for a few minutes, that's all! A frying pan would do just as well, but it's nice to have the stripes! They are roeless, caught to US strict regulations, therefore SUSTAINABLE.
